S. Song     As a Bridegroom Rejoices over His Bride     Isaiah 62:5

This is a new category of Spiritual Song - DIALOGUE.
How it is sung is just as crucial as the song's message.
Where we see a flat horizon, God sees the earth's circle.
While to us time is a straight line, to God, it also is a circle.
Slowly but surely, He draws us to what we lost in the Garden.
It's time for ALL the Bride to face her seen-by-faith Bridegroom,
as He prayed in John 17 - "That they may be one as We are one."
Based on Isaiah 30:21, let a live or recorded voice come from behind
to represent the Bridegroom’s voice in the statement-response section.
This isn't a song for musicians to sing at us, but for them to sing with us.

Lyrics:

As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride,
So your God will rejoice over you.
For He sees the Church, taken from Christ’s side,
As pure as Creation’s dew.

Purchased by His blood on Golgotha’s tree,
Betrothed to the Son till His face she sees,
Dressed in her Bridegroom’s righteousness,
Ready to wed and know His caress!

(Bridegroom's statement) Bride's response

(In My eyes,) In Your eyes,
(My Holy eyes,) Your Holy eyes,
(You’re My joy;) I’m Your joy;
(You’re Calvary’s prize.) I’m Calvary’s prize.

(Golgotha’s pain) Golgotha’s pain
(Was worth it all.) [silence]
(You came to Me;) I came to You;
(You heard My call.) I heard Your call.
